The café had been a long-held dream for the owner. The space needed to celebrate the lovingly prepared Turkish recipes handed down between generations. Incorporating the owner’s heritage into the design was paramount, while the interiors still needed to appeal to the local population. Raw brick, blackened steel, weathered timber and leather gave a contemporary industrial edge to the space, while the gentle curves and traditional textiles paid homage to Turkish design. The result was a happy client who fulfilled her dreams of a meeting space where history and love could be enjoyed by all.
